Patrick Ryan, Operations Support

Patrick Ryan has over 28 years of experience serving the water and wastewater market in executive management, business and project development roles. He has global experience in executive sales positions working for multinational water companies. Mr. Ryan co-founded a national project development firm serving the Industrial North American water market for over 10 years and has been involved on hundreds of projects. Ryan has been on the front of innovative technology development companies and has worked with several start-up companies to address hyper-desalination technologies, liquid to gas applications, and biological treatment, among others. His project experience in water treatment has allowed him to navigate industries, including: Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Chemical Processing, Food & Beverage, Leachate and Municipal projects.

Randy Galgon, Chief Technology Officer

Randy Galgon has 41 years of experience in pollution control and environmental industries, including process design, equipment design, project management, startup management, technical advisory, and research & development. Prior to joining Hyperion Water Technologies, Mr. Galgon served as owner and operator of Hazleton for 25-years, managing product and process development. His work resulted in 17 U.S. patents, 21 international patents, and 7 commercially available products. Mr. Galgon has invented multiple treatment processes commercially in use, with more pending. Over his career, he has been part of the design and startup of 91 independent water treatment facilities globally. A U.S. Army veteran, Galgon studied engineering at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and the University of Pittsburgh.

William Kohl, Managing Director

With three decades of experience in the water and wastewater market, Kohl has served as a leader in both his own companies and for global multi-nationals. He has served in roles spanning from business development and executive management to technology subject matter expert. Mr. Kohl co-founded a national project development firm serving the Industrial North American Water market and has been involved on hundreds of multimillion dollar design build and operation projects in a multitude of industries and applications. Mr. Kohl has successfully delivered cutting-edge water and wastewater solutions in the Municipal, Power, Food & Beverage, Mining, Chemical, and Oil & Gas industries. His expertise includes evaluating, developing and providing innovative solutions for resource recovery, zero liquid discharge (ZLD), remediation, and waste to energy systems. 

Robert Bowen, Process Engineer

Robert Bowen is serving as a Process Engineer on one of Hyperion’s flagship sites. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Robert’s responsibilities include operations management and continuous improvement development of a key Hyperion storm water treatment system in the Tampa, FL area. His work directly contributes ensuring stringent surface water discharge requirements are met for compliance and safety requirements. Robert is also responsible for 3D design modeling of key Hyperion technologies and components, and supporting new design advancements.
